Old German Beer Hall is the home of Mia San Milwaukee, the city's Bayern Munich fan club. Established in 2005, the venue is a deliberate Milwaukee tribute to Munich's iconic Hofbräuhaus (i.e. Hofbräu München brewery adhering to the 500-year-old Reinheitsgebot purity law) . The location at the corner of 3rd and State, directly across the street from the historic Usinger's Famous Sausage factory, places the beer hall in the heart of Milwaukee's Old World 3rd Street German cultural corridor.
